ThaiBev FY2025 profit falls 12% to $1.272m

Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (ThaiBev) reported $1.272m (THB31.153m) profit after tax in the financial year (FY) 2025 ended 30 September, an 11.7% decline compared to last year.

The lower profit was a result of a 2.1% decline in sales revenue to $13.611m (THB333.286m) amidst “a macroeconomic background that softened consumer sentiment,” Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi, chairman of the board of directors of ThaiBev, said in company filing at the local bourse today.

Its spirits business recorded a 1.8% year-on-year (YoY) decline in sales revenue to $4.843m (THB118,604m) and sales volume decreased by 3.2%, primarily due to weaker domestic consumption, said Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, group CEO.

Its international business, including Myanmar, delivered a strong performance, he added.

ThaiBev board of directors proposed a final dividend of $0.19 (THB0.47), a 61.4% payout ratio attributable to shareholders, Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi said.

This compares with a total dividend of $0.25 (THB0.62) distributed in FY2024, reflecting a stable distribution YoY, he added.  

The chairman said that the company plans to tighten cost structures and optimise efficiencies to enhance competitiveness across its business segments and drive growth.

ThaiBev consolidated Fraser and Neave Limited to become a pure-play beverage and food player, the report said.
