Jeanette Aw Raises S$19K At Her 47th Birthday Charity Fundraiser Selling Items From Her Personal Collection, Trinkets Featured On Her YouTube Series & More

Jeanette Aw held a charity fundraiser in celebration of her 47th birthday on Jun 28, and has raised at least $19,000 from selling some of her personal items, as well as trinkets featured in her YouTube series.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend to share that the charity sale had raised at least S$19,000 at the time she posted the update.

All proceeds are to be donated to the Singapore Children’s Society.

“The amount of love, kindness, and generosity we've received has been incredible,” she wrote.

“Every donation, message, and word of encouragement meant so much.”

A variety of items was available, including original artworks, hand-painted tingkat containers, cups, and plates made by Jeanette and guests on her YouTube series JA Unscripted.

Pre-owned belongings from the actress’ personal collection, as well as paintings donated by the Singapore Girls’ Home, were also on sale that day.

​Jeanette gushed that everyone’s support has “made this experience so special”, and that she is beyond grateful.

For those who would still like to contribute, the donation link will remain opened until end of July.

In a previous interview with reporters, Jeanette also shared that, instead of gifts, she hopes that her fans would show support in the form of cash donations.

“Every piece of donation would be of great help,” she said.
